ADI and the Chamber of Commerce of Udine promote the realization of the exhibition of products / services published in the latest ADI Design Index 2012. This initiative responds to the request to give maximum emphasis on the annual selection. It is the first time that the selected objects in the volume are the protagonists of an exhibition dedicated to them and the Chamber of Commerce of Udine showed particular interest in the initiative. Grado Zero Espace will partecipate to the initiative with the exposition of 4Life Uniform, the technological suit, designed and realized for the Arciconfraternita della Misericordia of Empoli but suitable for all public assistance associations and civil protection as well.

Giada Dammacco, Chief Industrial Designer of Grado Zero Espace, has spoken at the re-opening of MateriO - Belgium event with a presentation on the new frontiers of technology of new materials.

Grado Zero Espace is participating in a research project led by TU Delft called Light.Touch.Matters. A meaningful project, that has the support of the European Union. In Light.Touch.Matters product designers and material researchers will collaborate to jointly develop a fully new generation of smart materials that combine touch sensitivity with luminosity. Manufactured on plastic substrates, these smart materials will be thin and flexible, allowing seamless integration into all kinds of applications offering radically new modes of product-user interaction. Their benefits will be explored and fine-tuned in the project by simultaneously developing both the materials and product concepts in which they are applied. The results will be demonstrated in 4-6 technology showcases.
