Rapid prototyping
Rapid prototyping (RP) is an innovative technology that enables the production, in few hours, of objects having complex geometry directly from mathematical model, created using a three-dimensional CAD system.
Material: the prototypes will be realized in ABS plus material. Thanks to this thermoplastic polymer, it is possible to make functional, ergonomic and dimensional tests directly on the model.
Layer thickness accuracy: 0,254 mm (0,010 inches) or 0,33 mm (0,013 inches).
Maximum size for piece: 254 x 254 x 305 mm (10 x 10 x 12 inches).
In case the model exceed in size, it can be subdivided in more parts to be assembled.
Finishing: On request, the models can be finished by painting or galvanizing and plating processes.
