S1 - Suit

S1 sailing suit comes from the Transat 6.50 experience. The updated version introduces some innovations that improves bodily movements and increases comfort.
S1suit is a soft shell suitable for marine environment. Design structure:
1. Using the last shape memory polymer, we are able to optimise breathability and alkaline sweat resistance. The membrane adapts its molecular structure and permeability according to thermal variations in the environment, guaranteeing a constant body temperature. This membrane is able to modify its own structure autonomously according to thermal variations.
2. The integration of the glove with the sleeve, thereby avoiding the problem of losing a glove due to
strong winds. Thanks to a meta-aramid textile composition, the structure is fire resistant and abrasion
resistant. Furtermore it is oil repellent and waterproof. Keprotec fabric integrated on the palm is anti-slip.
3. Shock absorber with a new memory foam made from visco-elastic polyurethane foam. The paches are placed on some parts of the body to protect from the impact.
4. In order to increase the visibility, there is an electroluminescent flexible film on the back, controlled by a switch inside the pocket.
5. The seams are sealed with Liquid Shell patented treatment that preserve sailing flexibility while permits an optimal water resistance.
